Kitāb – كِتاب = Buch, book
Kitāb ist jedes Buch, heute aus besonderem Anlass jedoch Kitāb at-tabih von muhammad b. al-hasan al-kātib al-bağdādī, ein Arabisches Kochbuch aus dem Spätmittelalter, dessen Übersetzung ich in einem früheren Leben angefertigt habe.
Kitāb is any book, but today it is for me Kitāb at-tabih by muhammad b. al-hasan al-kātib al-bağdādī, an ancient cookbook dating from the 13th century, which I have translated long ago in my former life.
