P for… Pattern
At the very beginning of this Alefbaba project, there was my passion for pattern.
After several years of working with pattern as a longarm quilter, I wished to experiment with pattern without the constraints of needle, thread and fabric. It did take quite some time to stop „thinking quilt“ when taking the pens and starting to draw.
Pattern – Muster
Ganz am Anfang dieses Alefbaba-Projekts stand meine Begeisterung für Muster.
Nach mehreren Jahren der Arbeit mit Mustern als Longarm-Quilterin hatte ich den Wunsch, ohne die Begrenzung durch Nadel, Garn und Stoff mit Mustern zu experimentieren. Es hat eine Weile gedauert bis ich nicht mehr sofort „Quilt“ gedacht habe wenn ich die Stifte in die Hand genommen habe.
