A wie… Aronia
Aronia, auch Apfelbeere genannt, steht bald zur Ernte an. Was macht man bloß daraus? Ein Blick in die diversen Kochportale ergibt: Sirup und Likör, dazu, meist mit anderen Früchten gemischt, Gelee, Marmelade und Chutneys. Besonders spannend klingt das nicht gerade. Vielleicht bleibt es auch dieses Jahr Vogelfutter.
Aronia – aronia berry, chokeberry
The Aronia berries are ripe and ready to be picked. But what shall one do with them? A glance at different food sites gives: sirup and liqueur, and together with other fruit, jams and jellies as well as chutneys. That doesn’t sound very exciting. Maybe this year too the berries will make birds happy.
